This site, patrickhillstrom.com, is run by Patrick Hillstrom (“I” or “me”). This policy explains what the site collects and what I do with it.

Information collected

• Usage information: pages visited, the referring site, browser and device type, and approximate location, collected through Vercel Web Analytics. It reports aggregate numbers only. Visits are counted with a hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours, not with cookies, and nothing is tied to you personally.
• Information you send: your name, email address, and anything else you include when you email me.
• Cookies and local storage: this site sets no cookies. It saves your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage, which never leaves your device.

Booking a call happens on getnerve.ai, which has its own privacy policy. Links to other sites, including the projects shown here, are covered by those sites' policies.

How it's used

• To reply to email you send
• To understand which pages get read and improve the site
• To keep the site running and secure

Sharing

I don't sell your information. It is shared only:

• With Vercel, which hosts the site and provides its analytics
• When the law requires it

Your choices

• Block scripts from this site in your browser if you don't want visits counted at all.
• Email me to ask what I hold about you or to have it deleted.

Security

I take reasonable steps to protect the information the site collects, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
